Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by Floormasters Group (“we,” “our,” or “us”) to clients (“you” or “your”) throughout British Columbia and Vancouver Island.
By requesting or engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Estimates and Quotes
All pricing estimates or quotes provided by Floormasters Group are based on the information and site conditions available at the time of inspection or inquiry.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Any changes in material costs, project scope, or site conditions may require a revised quotation.
2. Project Scheduling
Scheduling is coordinated upon acceptance of a written proposal or work order.
While we strive to meet agreed timelines, unforeseen factors such as weather, material delays, or prior project extensions may affect scheduling.
Clients will be notified promptly of any adjustments.
3. Payment Terms
Payment terms are outlined in each proposal. Common structure includes:
- A deposit upon acceptance to confirm scheduling and materials
- Progress billing for multi-phase or extended projects
- Balance due upon substantial completion
Late payments may be subject to interest charges and may affect future service scheduling.
4. Site Access and Preparation
Clients are responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to work areas, including removal of furniture, obstacles, and hazardous materials.
Any delay or additional work resulting from site inaccessibility may be subject to additional charges.
5. Warranty and Liability
Floormasters Group provides workmanship warranties in accordance with the scope of work and manufacturer guidelines.
Manufacturer warranties on coatings, adhesives, and materials apply as specified.
Our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of defective work and does not extend to incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.
6. Changes and Additional Work
Any changes requested by the client outside the original scope of work will be documented and billed as a change order.
Verbal agreements must be followed by written confirmation to ensure proper documentation.
7. Safety and Compliance
Floormasters Group adheres to WorkSafeBC safety standards and environmental regulations in all operations.
Clients and on-site personnel must respect safety signage and restricted areas while work is in progress.
8. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be submitted in writing.
Deposits may be non-refundable if materials have been ordered or mobilization has occurred.
Rescheduling requests will be accommodated when possible without penalty if notice is received at least 48 hours in advance.
9. Website Use
By using our website, you agree not to reproduce, modify, or redistribute its content without written permission.
All text, logos, and media are the intellectual property of Floormasters Group and its respective brand partners.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
Any disputes arising from our services or agreements shall be resolved in accordance with the jurisdiction of British Columbia courts.
